Impressive pair of iconic Nessen Studios , Mid Century, Modernist, Minimalist school table lamps, constructed of brushed steel and walnut, circa 1960's. The lamps feature a squared metal base, with a perfectly proportioned walnut vertical post, with elegant steel trim. The top caps, tubing and lighting fitments . Both are in very good, vintage condition, both are working, all parts are original. Classic Mid Century Modern design from a recognized master of the period, Walter Von Nessen. The finish shows some minor cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age, please see images.
One lamp is somewhat darker than the other, but not as dramatic as it appears in the images.
