Craig Shepard was a Nevada artist, a university professor, and an advocate for wild horses. Where we live in Northern Nevada it's a common sight to see herds of wild horses. There is a lot of open land and they just graze where they want. This picture depicts a herd of horses done in black ink on paper that captures the movement and beauty of the herd. It is not unusual to go outside your door and find wild horses grabbing a snack. They're very beautiful. See less
