Beautiful original patina on this oak and brass standing bentwood easel. Brass hardware with original chain (at least the one that was one it when I purchased it in the mid-80s). Brackets stamped/engraved with a patent date of 1891, this scrolled classic Bentwood design is consistent with the late Victorian Period. Have loaned it out for weddings, class reunions, and events... anywhere a menu, seating chart or a portrait needs to be displayed. Brass brackets to hold your art are adjustable up or down the length of the legs to accommodate any size piece.
Width at the widest, lowest point for brackets is apx. 20". In these photos, the brackets are apx. 17.5" apart.
