Crafted in Provence circa 1850, the gate features exceptional craftsmanship that highlights its historical charm. The table stands on four sturdy square legs, connected by a gracefully arched bottom stretcher, providing both stability and elegance. The intricate neoclassical design of the antique ironwork showcases masterful scrollwork, floral motifs, ribbon accents, and a central medallion features a classical Roman or Greek style profile rendered in high relief. The top is further dressed with a thick heavy piece of beveled glass, combining practicality and aesthetic appeal. The cocktail table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a patinated black and silver polished steel finish. A great addition to a den or living room. Few scratches on the glass (normal wear). Close to 200 pounds!
