Big and beautiful Water color by Barbara Sidnii Woods of Santa Rosa California. Since deceased now Sidnii found acclaim in the California art world and mastered her work in watercolor still life.
Vivid and colorful, painted on Arches paper in yellows browns blues and golds.
Beautifully framed in gold under a heavy glass.
Signed at the bottom right and verso with full artist details.
Born in Oklahoma, Sidnii Woods moved to California in 1952 to study art and design. She continued her studies with Frank Webb and Jan Kunz and gained early recognition for her oil paintings, sculptures and mosaics and – winning awards at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach and the Triton Museum of Art. Over the course of a long career, Woods exhibited widely and with success and was the recipient of numerous prizes and juried awards.
