The table is mahogany and mahogany veneer … Read more An American Federal mahogany pembroke table, Rhode Island, John Townsend school, circa 1810. The table is mahogany and mahogany veneer with chestnut secondary. The top has fine stringing in a light wood and there is a working drawer and a dummy drawer. On square, slightly tapered legs, ending in brass caps and casters. The table is 28" high by 33 1/2" wide by 21 1/2" deep when closed. Open, the table is 33 1/2" by 40". Condition is good overall, with blemishes to the top, some missing cockbeading on the drawer and some moulding missing on the top of the legs. The table has been re-finished and the pulls are not original. Guaranteed to be as described. See less
