An excellent vintage full-color print after pencil and watercolor drawing "Nude Woman" by Auguste Rodin. Comes from a rare vintage art book published by Budapest Museum of Art, Hungary, 1959. Signed in the print: "A Rodin". Original piece is 12 and 5/8"H x 8.25"L and it is a part of Majovszky Collection. Printed on high quality heavy paper. Name of the artist is printed on back. Excellent condition - minor edge wear, never framed.
In a career that spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Auguste Rodin (French, 1840–1917) was deeply inspired by tradition yet rebelled against its idealized forms, introducing innovative practices that paved the way for modern sculpture.
