Set of 3 large and excellent vintage photogravures (prints) after 3 drawings by Auguste-Firmin Renoir.
The first piece (on the left) is after pencil drawings Battledore and Shuttlecock (1887), sketch for the painting In the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Signed in the print: "AR".
The second piece (in the center on the 1st image) is after chalk drawing Country Dance (1883), sketch for the painting formerly in the Durand-Ruel Collection, resembles a drawing in the Cesar M. de Hauke Collection in New York. The dancers are the painter Lhote and Renoir's future wife. Signed in the print: "AR".
The third piece is after pencil drawing "Seated Woman" (1887). Signed in the print: "AR AR." This piece has a stain (shown on the pictures), which doesn't touch the image and won't be visible when matted.
All three prints were printed on high quality heavy paper. Name of the artist is printed on the back of each piece. Excellent condition - never framed. Budapest, Hungary, 1959.
