A Fine 19th Century Rosewood Chiffonier with Original Mirrored Back, Brass Mounts and Marble Top.
This admirable piece, made c.1830, is of excellent quality and good design. Retaining its original, beautifully aged mirror backs to top and bottom. It has two shelves to the top, both with white marble and the top one with a gilt brass gallery. The two shelves are linked by scrolling gilt brass supports of superb quality, the casting and finishing being excellent. Standing on a plinth base veneered in rosewood and two gilt brass columns with collars and cast floral detailing. There are further decorative quality, gilt brass mounts to the frieze front.
A fine quality piece of regency furniture, which is more admirable when seen in real life.
