Round brilliant diamonds total an estimated 1.10 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Calibre cut rubies range in size from 1.5mm to 2.5mm. The rubies are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips (few light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe).

The beautiful rich red rubies shimmer and make a dramatic and memorable statement on the earlobe! Measuring 1 1/2 inches in length the pendant drops move with you. Shimmering diamonds frame the dome set calibre cut rubies. Wearable day or night, the earrings are fitted with hook backings for pierced ears.

The invisible setting is a complex technique of cutting gemstones to fit very close together. This allows the gem setter to cover the surface of the mount with a floating gemstone mosaic look, resulting in a dramatic and unique piece of jewelry. Patented by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1933 and known as the 'Mystery Setting', the resulting jewels from the famed French jewelry house are some of the most memorable jewels ever created.
The earrings are in very good condition and were lightly cleaned and polished.
