This earthenware … Read more A fun and festive serving set with a burnt orange platter, yellow pitcher and six assorted color cups. This earthenware set is from Gladding, McBean & Company. The pitcher is 9 inches in width (including the handle), six inches in depth and 8 inches tall. The platter is 16 inches in diameter. Each cup is held in a metal frame, or handled support, but can be removed and used separately. The cups are 3 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in height. The set is in good vintage condition with a hairline crack at the bottom of the pitcher and a small wear mark on the rim of the spout. The platter is great shape with one noted scuff to the finish. There are some minor flaws in the earthenware from the firing process, but the set presents well and is sure to catch the eye. Please see photographs for an overall representation of condition.
