A rare pair of antique French topiaries in Zinc, dating to the 19th century. Each of these fabulous sculptures emulate a pruned topiary resting in a square base with scaled foliate detail. Standing over 4 feet tall, these pieces would look fabulous flanking a doorway, in a sunroom, or formal greenhouse.
This set of topiaries is in good antique condition, especially considering their age. They feature a wonderful surface finish with oxidation and traces of old paint. Each of the topiaries is missing a couple of its zinc leaves and one of the lower bases is missing one of its leafy fronds. Please review photos to confirm these condition details.
These topiary sculptures measure 50" wall, 8-1/4" wide, and 8-1/4" deep.
