Oil painting on hand stretched linen of a genre celebratory scene in a Dutch village pub after Pieter Bruegel the Elder by Satori Gregorakis. Signed in the lower right corner. Framed. 1995
Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-) I paint scenes in the tradition and style of old masters. I like being surrounded by classical paintings. At the heart of my process is the careful and deliberate preparation of surface.
Satori’s paintings are widely collected both nationally and internationally.
