Sterling Silver Broccoli Brooch by JH Breakwell signed on back.

When former President George H.W, Bush blundered into Broccoligate by admitting that he didn't care for the green, Founder James Breakell responded by sending Barbara Bush a brooch fashioned in what has been one of our best selling pins ..... a broccoli sprig. The gesture prompted a personal note from Mrs. Bush which hung on the wall of the Breakell Retail Store. located in the historic downtown Newport, for many years. Our Broccoli Pin is 1 1/2" in length and 1 3/8" at its' widest point. The original pin now resides in the National Archives under Presidential Gifts. Retail is $165
