One from The Heart by Ingo Maurer, 1980s Elegant and fantastic table lamp mod. One from The Heart with plastic heart-shaped diffuser. Above the diffuser there is a suspended and swiveling heart-shaped mirror, with which special light effects can be created. The central structure is made up of two orange tubes that intertwine. The base is made up of two metal rounds and under one of the two there are two crocodiles with their mouths open. This table lamp is produced and designed by Ingo Maurer (german designer) in 1980s. This table lamp is in very good conditions, it is perfectly preserved and functional. The measurements in cm are 45x15x90h The designer Ingo Maurer says that the One from the Heart table lamp was born as a wedding present for friends. The two threads intertwine and reach the heart, which represents the union of the spouses. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
