This is a lovely vintage jewellery box that is Lacquered with a black background and gold details and brass hardware. This has birds, cherry blossoms and other flowers. There are two drawers and the top opens and a mirror flips out and can hold the top open. There is a brass key-like bar that holds the top closed, which is attached with a red thread and two brass handles on the sides. This is in excellent condition except for a couple spots on the top where the gold has flaked off and there is some crackling in the lacquer, as shown in the photos.
