Abstracted Figure in Nature in Ink and Pastel on Paper
Beautiful and unique abstract piece of a figure in nature by Frank Rowland (American, 1927-2012). The graceful and simplified form of the figure crouches away from the viewer, blending softly with the beautiful imagery of plants and colors.

Frank Rowland American Artist: b. 1927-2012. Born in Altoon, Pennsylvania, master printmaker and artist, Frank Rowland, began his art education at age 12, when he attended W.P.A. art classes with his father. He further his studies at the School of Design Arts and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, as well as the American Academy of Fine Art and The Academic Art Foundation of Chicago. A recognized master serigraphy, Rowland headed his own studio in Chicago for many years.
