This rare chair side chest is from their “Independence Hall Collection” introduced in 1976 celebrating the bicentennial anniversary of the United States of America and the building in Philadelphia where the Declaration of Independence was signed. This chair side chest is crafted out of cherry solids and inside the top drawer is the “Special Edition” stamp featuring Independence Hall. This small chest is finished on all four sides and measures 22” wide by 14” deep and 23” high. For its vintage we feel it’s in great condition. The finish is smooth and not faded, there are some minor marks, dings, and nicks consistent with its age . All the brass hardware is accounted for and shiny with typical patina. The interiors of the drawers are very clean and almost look like they were never used. The best part is it comes with its original show room hang tag and warranty card. We have tried to represent the wear accurately, but additional photos are available on request. See less

The case and drawers are solid. The finish has a nice sheen and luster, there is no sun damage or fading. The brass hardware is shiny with normal patina. There is a scratch on the left facing side that is a few inches long. It has been touched up at some time and is visible with direct light. The left facing back section of the base is loose and seems like the glue may have separated some in the small area. This is only noticeable because the seam doesn't line up exactly like it does on the right side. It could be corrected with glue or a screw from the underside if someone was inclined but it does't affect the stability of the piece at all. There are a few small dings on the top we feel are very minimal for its age. We have tried to represent the wear accurately, but additional photos are available on request. less
