This set of nine (9) authentic early 19th century copperplate engravings depict "grotesques" (architectural details with grotesque imagery). The original drawings were created by Oppenort and engraved by Huquier. They were printed on one side only in Paris in 1814 on handmade "laid" paper. These prints are scarce and rarely come to the market. Almost 18" high this set will make a great HUGE wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions: 12.5" x 17.75".
