This antique edition of Madame Butterfly by John Luther Long has a beautiful decorative cover with water lily flowers. Referred to as the "Japanese Edition" on the title page, the antique book contains eight photographic illustrations by C. Yarnall Abbot.
Display this special book on a living room coffee table or bedroom night stand.
Published in 1903, the vintage book has two gift inscriptions at the front, one dated 1913 and one dated 8/1/17 (2017) by Greg Napolitan the wood sculptor as well as a newspaper clipping from 1921 with a poem by Edgar A. Guest.
The antique book shows wear consistent with its age and use including wear around the cover edges and toning to the pages.
