Made in Italy between the 70s and 80s, this Jug is part of a successful series that included numerous tableware in the shape of fruit and vegetables. This series, which recalls the Portuguese production of Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics, was produced by "Italica ARS", a company founded in the 1920s in the province of Florence and no longer active today. The design of this jug could be attributable to this company despite only having engraved the words "ITALY" into the ceramic. This vintage jug is made entirely by hand in majolica ceramic. The bright red, yellow and green glazes and its strawberry shape make it irresistible. The container measures 18.5 cm high by 16 cm deep and 21 cm wide including handle The object is in good vintage condition, but has an imperceptible imperfection visible in the photo on the at the end of the jug. All other items visible in the photos are available for sale on our page. See less
