These are made out of melamine resin & are a burnt orange color with speckles. I have two coffee/tea mugs, one mug platter, one cake plate, one bowl & one creamer. On the back of each dish is : Fashioned of Melmac. Color Flyte Designer Dinnerware by MCM Branchell". The colors are vibrant and the dishes are made out of a very sturdy plastic like material.
