A trompe l'oeil oil on canvas painting by the Russian-Israel artist Yacov Feldman (born 1969). This painting depicts a small profile of a young gentleman above an old metal tool set against a manila colored background. The piece is signed at the bottom of the canvas and is unframed.
Born in 1969 in Vitebsk, Byelorussia Yacov Feldman studied at the Art College in Vitebsk and later at the Academy of Textile Design in Vitebsk. He immigrated to Israel in 1990. He had solo exhibitions in Paris, Jerusalem, and Santa Fe among others and participated in group exhibitions in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Los Angeles, Paris, and Hague.
