Issued for the film's original theatrical release in Japan, this scarce B2 poster is notable for featuring Bullitt's 1968 Highland Green Ford Mustang GT 390. First released in Japan in December 1968, the film was still in continuous release when it won an Academy Award in April 1969 and an updated poster design with an Oscar statuette was issued to theaters to capitalize on this. This is the more sought after pre-Academy Awards style without the Oscars notice. See less
