The intensely-colored body transitions from purplish-pink at the base, to clear at its center, and then a deep ultramarine blue at its apex. Demonstrating the skill and craft of VeArt's Murano artisans the surface has been worked with a Battuto, or hammered, technique, with bubble-like extrusions on either side. A highly unusual vase typical of Zuccheri's experimental approach to design that pushed the boundaries of modern glass work. See less
