Circa 1820, this piece is made of mahogany and features 4 deep drawers and a grey marble top. All drawers are clean and slide easily, and there is no damage to the marble. The outstanding feature of this chest is found in the delicate inlay scrollwork on the drawer fronts. These scroll forms are created with pieces of exotic wood, and they are in excellent condition given the age of this piece, about 200 years. A true antique and work of art. Imported from France.
