The chair is made of solid oak, very elaborately crafted, beautiful antique patina,
very unusual architect's design
Probably in the circle of Peter Behrens - Darmstadt Mathildenhöhe - Werkbund - Hellerau - German Workshops?
Original around 1900 the chair comes from a Berlin architect's household.
Good condition with slight signs of wear, minimal damage to the wood, the chair has been restored.
The upholstery and leather has already been renewed, genuine natural leather, African or horsehair upholstered on straps.
A very exclusive antique office chair!
