Julie Schafler Dale is a former gallerist, curator, and craft historian renowned for supporting and promoting the American Art to Wear or art-as-fashion movement. She founded Julie: Artisans' Gallery on Madison Avenue in New York City in 1973 and exhibited and sold the creations of fiber and textile artisans such as Susanna Lewis, Jo-Ellen Trilling and Diana Prekup. She closed the gallery in 2013.
