We can now offer this 17th/18th century landscape view of an Italian grotto with well articulated figures in the foreground and a distant city and further buildings done with atmospheric effect. Please enjoy the capability of the artist in developing motion and movement of the figures, even in small detail.
Previously attributed to the school of Jan Frans van Bloman, called Orizzonte.
