Ceramic crucifix from La Cava.
1950s revisitation of the common crucifix made of glazed ceramic.
Probably based on a design by Bruno Brunetti, a painter of the early twentieth century among the founders of classical abstractionism, who collaborated with the La Cava factory between the 1950s and 1960s.
La Cava was an artistic ceramics factory founded by the poet Alberto Caverni in Lastra Signa (FI) in the early 1950s.
The cross is in excellent state of conservation and has no defects.
It features the hand-painted logo on the back. This piece has an attribution mark,
