This large English 19th century convex mirror exudes timeless elegance and style for any room. The thick, gilded outer frame is enhanced by sumptuous carvings of acanthus, stationed at the four cardinal points, the pairs of unfurling leaves stretching in opposite directions. Separating the outer molding from the glass is a ring of ebonized, reeded molding. The original mirror plate exhibits a veil of foxing and crystals that has a tactile appearance adding dimension to the reflection. Fixed with wire and ready to hang in your interior.
