This vintage Gucci card cutter is the result of expert craftsmanship made in Italy during the 70s using the "Equestrian" theme iconic for this luxury band. The brass casting faithfully reproduces the horse's hoof in the handle; the rippled texture and the realistic indentation of the paw becomes incredibly smooth and pleasant to the touch on the body of the letter opener. I love the variation in finishing on the handle of the object, the result of knowledge in metalworking. In fact, a chrome-plated horseshoe in relief is applied to the horse's hoof which creates a splendid contrast with the gilding of the brass. This paper cutter is accompanied by its original box with the brand's logo. The condition of the item is good, there are small signs of oxidation and use visible in the photos and on the video. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
