Large unique stoneware sculpture by Sejer Keramik/Ceramics, Denmark. Hand turned and glazed in an amazing expressive multicoloured running glaze. Signed "Sejer, Unika, Denmark" underneath the foot. Retains sticker from Copenhagen retailer "Illums Bolighus". Sejer Keramik was a pottery workshop located on the island of Funen, Denmark known for a small production of handmade rustic stoneware objects in the 1960s and 1970s. The wonderful unique stoneware lamps in brutalist style that is typical for Sejer is becoming increasingly popular on the design market. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
