A truly well executed sculpture only in Venini Murano.

A classic Murano manufacture, the egg remains a status symbol for Murano. This one in particular is a true work of art from the Venini furnaces for a 50th anniversary; transparent in color with blue and yellow cane decorations. The egg bears an acid signature and date under the base. The egg is perforated at the bottom, and is empty inside, therefore very light. Very complicated manufacturing to do, which was only carried out in the Venini furnaces. The Murano furnaces create an indisputable timeless design, simple but elegant at the same time. See less
