The smiling young woman is wearing a ribbon tied around her neck, and her hair is tied in a high bun. The accent is on the décolleté of her flower-adorned blouse. It's almost as if her smile is emerging from a bouquet of flowers. Signed and engraved V Bryneel Paris on the back. Victor Léopold BRUYNEEL was a Belgian sculptor born in 1859, who worked in Paris and produced mainly female busts. Bronze height: 40 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
