The sculptures are hand-carved with great conviction and expression, carved out of fine solid ash wood with a nice warm undertone. Very strong and interesting graphic shapes and textures showing the refined skills of the artist. The sculptures reflect strong primitive influences with a modern abstract approach reminding of the work of Constantin Brancusi. Signed at the side: I.
