United Wilson JUWC 1897 Hand-painted Chinese Porcelain Vase with Crackle Glaze. Large hand-painted vase with brass rim and detachable brass base. Vase decorated with floral ribbons and musical instruments. Measures 12 1/2" high, 9" wide at base, and 11" wide at rim.
Vase bears the Maker's Mark identifying it as a United Wilson JUWC 1897 Chinese Porcelain Vase. United Wilson Porcelain has proudly utilized several insignias to authenticate its craftsmanship. While each iteration is an evolution, the iconic "UW," derived from the company name, is always prominently featured and the distinguished "1897" inscription that pays homage to company founders and the year the company's prestigious porcelain legacy in Hong Kong began.
