This Antique Chinese "Kang" Cabinet is a remarkable piece of Ming-style craftsmanship, featuring traditional "Horse Hoof" legs and clean, straight lines. It includes a "secret compartment" beneath the three drawers, historically used for storing valuables. The original copper hardware adds authenticity and charm. Handcrafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure—traditional Chinese furniture-making techniques—the cabinet exudes both durability and elegance. Made from the core of cypress wood, it showcases the wood grain and remains solid, with its original patina and wear beautifully preserved. Circa early 19th century.
