This is an exceptional French Louis XVI style sideboard. Made of light chestnut, this piece features a lower credenza with an upper cupboard for ample storage. The fine carvings on the door fronts feature the Louis XVI theme of floral motifs, baskets, and a painter’s palette. At the crest there are crossed flames or flambeau and cascading floral motifs. The 4-door piece is quite unusual and the condition is positively excellent. Having this credenza in your home is equivalent to displaying a work of art. All original hardware.
