A rare and exquisite set of five blue and white syllabub cups with matching covers. Each cup is beautifully decorated with floral motifs in underglaze blue, a hallmark of the period's porcelain artistry. These cups, often referred to as pot de crème or syllabub cups, feature the traditional 'Jug Pots' form, characterized by their bulbous bodies and finely detailed lids. The lids are adorned with floral finials and a scalloped or diapered edge, adding to their elegance.
Each cup is fitted with twin intertwined twig handles.Standing 3 inches high, 3.5 inches wide, and 2 inches deep, these unmarked pieces are finely crafted examples of Qing Dynasty porcelain, reflecting the sophistication and craftsmanship of the Qianlong era.
