An exquisite Exotic Anglo-Indian Patinated Repoussé Brass Oil Lamp, now electrified. Made in India circa 1880 for the English market, this striking lamp features a bulbous form intricately adorned with detailed repoussé work depicting Indian figures amidst lush landscape cartouches, leaves, and vines. The lamp's design is further enhanced by stylized alligator handles on either side, adding a touch of exotic flair. It retains its original English double burner with inset natural cats eye style stone (now deactivated) with embossed 'P-Duplex-A' switches. This lamp has been newly rewired, complete with a socket and harp, making it ready for the shade of your choice. A true blend of cultural artistry and functionality, this lamp stands 17 inches tall to the sockets and 14 inches high to the top of the vase, with a 13-inch diameter.
