The vase is distinguished by its large size and, above all, the deep, dark green of the perfectly preserved glaze. The surface of the vessel is diversified by a geometric, ellipsoidal, irregular pattern. It was probably made with a stamp; the glaze was removed from the vase where it was placed. The artisanal nature of this item, in addition to the hand-made decoration, is also emphasized by the circles visible on its surface, reminding us of the traditional way of making clay vessels on a potter's wheel. The vase perfectly combines rustic tradition with a modern, attractive form. See less
