Beautiful Lithograph of Edwin Edwards (1823-1879) famous English countryside painting "September Eve" painted in the mid-1850s. Framed with a lovely gold mat and backed in masonite.

About the Artist: Edwin Edwards (1823-1879) was a well-respected English painter. British Museum has extensive holdings. His portrait of Fantin-Latour is in the Tate Museum collections. He held the post of King's Proctor." French art critic in 1879 wrote of Edwards: "Edwin Edwards will live on in posterity, not only by his works but also by his relationships." Edwards has 54 works at the Royal Academy.
