This rare art deco louis vuitton bistro table was manufactured by rex in the 1930's. Louis vuitton partnered with the rex company to produce quality bistro tables in limited quantities during the 30's. This table is a great example for its age, the bakelite top is in good condition with only a few marks commensurate with age. These rare to find lv 'bistro' tables are of a desirable height which makes them a wonderful addition to the home, perfect for enjoying an evening tipple. The louis vuitton logo can be seen on the cast iron base, which is a very sturdy. Dimensions are h x 70cm, w x 60.5cm, d x 60.5cm.
louis vuitton designed many furniture pieces for restaurants in the 1930s, and also a few for the orient express. Please see my other listing for a lv dining table. This piece has an attribution mark,
