This attractive little piece of Regency miniature furniture, as the name suggests, was probably made as a simple stand alone cabinet to be placed on top of a table top type surface. Alternatively it may have been specifically made as a travelling salesmans sample piece of furniture. Whichever its original purpose it is incredibly useful for modern day living however and we think it could be used to hold a wide variety of different day to day items.

The mahogany veneers have been very carefully chosen to ensure that they are well figured and this results in a very decorative item. Overall the quality of construction is also excellent and it has clearly been made in a well respected workshop.

As with all items which we offer for sale this antique table cabinet has received a thorough inspection and natural wax polish by our traditional antique furniture restorers before being offered for sale. It also comes with working lock and key.
