Large vintage kokeshi themed around Lake Towada (Statue of Maidens) from the 1960s.
Dimensions: Height 45 cm, Diameter 10 cm.
The bottom of this kokeshi is decorated with a silhouette of the Statue of Maidens.
The wooden doll features a band around its middle, crafted from the bark of the Japanese cherry tree, along with Japanese characters above it—a reference to Lake Towada and the famous Statue of Maidens.
