(YOU CAN MAKE REASONABLE OFFERS.) This is a hand colored engraving after Jean Louis Ernest Meissonier (French, 1815-1891) titled "La Campagne de Russie" depicting Napoleon and his army. It is signed "Meissonier 1864" in plate on the lower right. It is engraved by A. Besse. It is pencil signed "A. Besse" on the lower right and titled in pencil on the lower left. The frame is 36" wide and 30" high. It has been nicely matted and framed.
