Crafted in France, the table stands on four scrolled legs over an intricate stretcher and decorative bronze rosettes and finials. The table features a scalloped apron embellished with shell and foliage motifs on all four sides. The surface is dressed with a rectangular white marble top embellished with a groove around the perimeter. (This feature is not only a decorative element, but was once used to catch blood as the butcher carved meat on this type of table). The "Table de Boucher" is in excellent condition and adorns a rich antique polished black and silver steel finish with gilt mounts and finials. Use this elegant table as a island in the middle of your kitchen, or as a wall console in an entry way.
