Handsome Coventry-labeled teak garden bench featuring an elaborate English Lutyens-style design. The sculptural back is formed with a tall arched lattice center, horizontal slats, and graceful scrolling crest rails. Open slatted arms, a generously proportioned slatted seat, and substantial squared supports complete the design.
The teak has naturally weathered to a soft silvery-gray and pale honey patina, giving the bench an appealing established-garden appearance. The original brass Coventry plaque remains attached to the front seat rail.
A striking and functional outdoor furnishing for a garden, terrace, conservatory, porch, or entry courtyard. The Lutyens form takes its name from architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and has been reproduced by numerous garden-furniture makers.
