With fine inlays and fabulous … Read more A grand Dutch baroque period walnut and burl walnut commode, (chest of drawers) circa 1750. With fine inlays and fabulous (replaced but period) hardware. It is 54" wide by 27" deep by 40 1/2" high. It has two short drawers over three long drawers. It is very heavy and solidly built, with a nice old finish with good color and patination. There is an old key but it does not work in the locks. With age-appropriate distressing, and the back has been replaced with plywood. Guaranteed to be as described. See less
